My life....and I'll never stop.

one year. upgraded from blog to website. five countries. two flourishing projects. DRT•BG. Nomad•ness TV. one rough draft of a memoir later, and this engine hasn't even officially started revving yet. let's get it!

Happening just a little faster that I expected, the Univere answered another call, and this is to get my DRT•BGs moving in the community, along with the story of Nomad•ness travel series. I always envisioned me talking to people in my neighborhood and making them aware of the movement...well it starts up Saturday at the Domo Arigato Festival.
This festival is a Japan Relief fundraiser! As we know, I lived in Niigata, Japan for a year and it is a place I hold near and dear to my heart. I miss it dearly. With that said, having the opportunity to not only promote my experience there, but also raise funds for their benefit, I'm there. No questions asked.
In lieu of it being festival number ICHI ('1' in Japanese), I'm running a sale on the bags. If you come to the festival,

This past Saturday was 1st Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum, and it was amazing!
I was all for the kick off to the July 4th weekend, and once I found out the DJs from my favorite Friday night party in NYC (FREEDOM PARTY @ Le Poisson Rouge) were spinning...I was in there like swimwear.
It was an amazing time. I finally got to pop the 1st Saturdays cherry of a few friends. Jason, Ivory, and even Australia's own stylist Chip was in the house. It felt so good to be around good people, great music, and positive energy.
I wasn't expecting to run into so many Nomad•ness supporters. Spotted through the crowd by my DRT•BG it was really all love and I adore you ladies. Fabianna, you are amazing. Trezure, as always I love catching up with you. Liz...even Nelson was in the house. Great times had by all.

So, personal friends or family, as well as readers who have been in the mix for awhile know that of all the places I've traveled to, Paris holds my heart. It's where I want to start spliting my years, by 2013. 6 months living in New York, and then 6 months living in Paris, every year. Sounds like heaven to me.

The Nomad•ness family is growing for sure. Shout out to the fellas of Heirport Clothing. Tarik and Dean, are really doing their thing with this line.
With a line, primarily men's wear, on a mission to represent those who take flight in life. Those who 'live on a higher plane'. Those who go outside of the confines, and boundaries placed upon them. Those who dare to live and let live. These men have a solid following and I'm definitely a fan.
They were the very first clothing line to approach me after the first episode of Nomad•ness dropped. Potential partnerships coming soon. I'm definitely an advocate for what these guys are doing. I adore them all. I really do.
Their expertise in the world of fashion led me down to Water Street in Brooklyn over the weekend. The Trunk show was phenomenal, and PACKED. To think, I was only there for the last hour of it.
It sparked so many ideas for what can be done with DRT•BGs, and I'm calling it now, in 1 year, we will be in a place with the bags where we WILL be a vendor at this show. Target demographic was all up and down that trunk show. LOVE IT!
